- He is currently working on Adaptive Query Intelligence™ (qu3ry.ai), which builds on the Adaptive Query platform to develop the foudnations for synthetic psychology™ and structural intelligence™.
Family Origins Nick is the great-grandson of Fritz Heider, author of The Psychology of Interpersonal Relations. Fritz was a psychologist who pioneered attribution theory, balance theory, and the study of social perception. Nick is the grandson of John Heider, author of The Tao of Leadership. John was a seminal figure in the Human Potential Movement. Nick is the son of Elizabeth Clark-Heider, who earned her Master's from Dartmouth; her thesis, Single Parent Perspectives, contains almost 400 pages of interviews. Her method—empathy—was her argument. While Nick never met Fritz or John, nor did he inherit any notes, journals, or letters from them, he did inherit their same social curiosities. However, it was Elizabeth's spirit that has shaped and guided him.
